Known as the opener of the way it is Anubis that guides us into the underworld to explore the truth in our heart centers. As the ancient Egyptian Jackle Headed God of the dead it is he whom we turn to in this equinox season as we reckon with what we must face within. We are making our personal and collective cyclical descent into the dark. What shadows lie in waiting for you? What needs to die and be released? Let Anubis show you the way.

LOGISTICS:
- 7pm – Open Sacred Space – Check in
- 7:20-7:50 – Shamanic Journey – You lie on the ground (or sit up if you prefer) while I lead you through the experience using my voice, drum, handpan, rattle or other sound tools.
- 7:50-8:20 – Movement/Dance – release, express, allow & embody
- 8:20-8:30 – Close Sacred Space

ARCHETYPE AS A SPIRIT GUIDE – Tonight we work with Anubis, which means meeting him directly in your shamanic journey to learn what he has to teach you. How does the mythos of his story contribute to the soul teachings you are seeking. He is the one who protects the dead – what has died – and is a gate keeper into the realm of the underworld. In a journey with him you are guided to make peace with what has died, with what is at its natural cycle of endings. Or to be conscious of what you are holding on to that needs to die so you can let it go.
SHAMANIC JOURNEY is the art of experiencing direct revelation at will. As a core shamanic practice, it is a fundamental tool in learning to navigate the underworld, middle world & upperworld, utilizing the information gathered to bring forth messages, meaning and purpose. Relationship is built with each realm to support a greater understanding of who you are and your place in the Great Mystery.
When working with a specific archetype or power-animal the investigation is to meet this being and learn what it has to teach you. This can be in any of the aforementioned realms.
ECSTATIC DANCE – There is about thirty minutes of free form movement included in each of these classes to support your body in releasing contracted energy, open to your gifts, and practice embodiment.
