Trauma as Medicine is the act of releasing the shackles of powerlessness found in the wake of grief, trauma or suffering and choosing to do the work required to metabolize your pain. Whether this is facing fear, expressing unresolved emotions, or telling your story – each act removes the sensation of subjugation to the past and opens you to the power of the present moment. This is where freedom lies. This is where that mountain comes in.
“Sarah Salter Kelly took the agonizing pain of personal catastrophe and turned it into soul medicine for herself and others. What seared her soul, then opened her soul, and an amazing light came in.”
