DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nPsychedellics give us the opportunity to expand our understanding of who we are\, confront our internal obstacles and open to a new way of seeing ourselves. They highlight the relational aspect of our human experience by reminding us we are in fact connected to everything. This means we are connected to our past\, inclusive of grief and trauma that we have not addressed. In a psychedellic experience we have the opportunity to explore these things. DESCRIPTION:Forgiveness has the power to liberate us from our deepest suffering\, to remind us that joy and grace are ever present and available – if we so choose. \nWhen we align with our Source – our highest power – we naturally remember the truth of our being and are able to shift our perspective to a different vantage point. To explore who we are and what has come to pass with a new set of eyes. \nThe grievances we hold – towards ourselves or others – remain as contracted energy in our bodies. This impedes our ability to open to our light\, diminishes our relationships\, and prevents us from feeling connected. What we have not forgiven quite literally prevents us from showing up in our lives. \nHow can we if we are consumed with all the holding required to bear these greivances. \nThis monthly circle offers an opportunity to engage your felt sense\, explore your energy body\, and notice what you are holding as contracted unforgiven blocks. SUMMARY:Alberta Restorative Justice Conference Presenter
DESCRIPTION:Sarah Salter Kelly shares her experience of her mothers homicide as a template to support others in moving into the underworld territory of trauma. Through her inspirational story she offers foundational teachings to guide you in trusting that not only have you had the right life experiences\, you have the resources within yourself to address them and transform them. She offers simple\, practical\, and powerful insights for the metabolization of trauma in day to day life.  \nSarah’s mother Sheila Salter was murdered by a stranger in the parking garage of her work place in Edmonton\, Alberta\, back in December of 1995. After spending years working through her grief\, Sarah came to a point where she realized she needed to address the perpetrator\, Peter Brighteyes\, head on. Now this was not an easy task\, as after being found guilty of murder one\,  in April of 1997 he had sucided in prison. Being unable to have a physical RJ experience Sarah sought to create one herself – and interestingly enough it was profoundly life changing.  \nShared humanity and understanding became the cornerstone of Sarah’s quest to know what made Peter become that Bad Guy in the parkade on that fateful morning. It brought her to the First Nations Land of his people\, educated her about the history of colonization in Canada\, and in time landed her at the kitchen table of his sister\, pouring over family albums and drinking tea.  \nCome and hear this one of a kind lived experience of compassion\, forgiveness and transformation.  \nHer book\, Trauma as Medicine\,  is based on two primary philosophies: First\, we have come to this planet to learn lessons and everything we need to grow is found in the heart of our experiences. Second\, the world around us is made of an intelligent matrix of consciousness – life force – that we are in fact a part of\, and we may cultivate our relationship with this life force to generate healing. \nPresentation date and times coming
