Early bird discount available until July 30th!

The intention of Trauma as Medicine is to delve deeply into your life’s experience and cultivate medicine from the heart of your greatest challenges. This is a retreat for those who are wanting to step more fully into their personal power, aligning who you are with how you live.

Here is what I know about trauma – it does not go away and we do not get over it. The greatest inquiry in our understanding of who we are is how do we carry it in a good way? Instead of cutting us down, how may it become the fuel that lifts us up?

Trauma needs to be metabolized – which means we need safe spaces to move into it. To build a healthy relationship with what often was not a healthy experience. This includes feeling the stuff that we have not felt so that it can move through us, addressing the fear that haunts us, and acknowledging the truth of the harm done.

This retreat uses land based teachings – time outside connecting with Mother Earth, Spirit, the Ancestors and your own Helping Spirits to culitvate what is necessary in your healing journey. Most of the meditations, workshop processes, ceremonies, rituals and teachings are outside. When we are on the land how we see ourselves and our world changes. All teachings are sourced from my book Trauma as Medicine
