Peruvian Shamanism is paving the way as a leading transformational resource for these times. Rich in cultural teachings and practices from the high Andes to the Amazon, this land holds an awareness of Spirit that we have forgotten in the Western World. This journey is for those who seek to remember.
In this experience you will be led by four Shaman: myself of Celtic Slavic lineage living on Treaty 6 territory in Canada, Juan Q’espi Q’ero Paq’o, Maestra Isa Kate Shipibo Ayahuascera and our other Ayahuascero.
THIS JOURNEY IS FULL – STAY TUNED FOR 2024
Who are the Q’ero?
The Q’ero people have lived in such remote locations since time immemorial, that they have maintained the integrity of their cultural heritage. Known as the last of the Inca they traveled down from the mountains in the past sixty years to fulfill the prophecy of the Condor and the Eagle. This was predicted to be a time when the people of the north and south join to form a new way of being – a time of Pachakuti – where everything turns upside down so we can see it in a new way. This is where we are now, and it is ripe for profound transformation. The Q’ero share the rich medicine of their traditions to guide Westerners home to the Pachamama. Juan Q’espi is our master teacher for this journey. I have known him for over thirteen years and admire his work within his community, family, and as a Shaman. For 12 days, he will lead you with his teachings, ceremonies, and initiations to cleanse you of heavy energy, open your heart, and set a foundation for your work as a healer.
Why Ayahuasca?
Our spiritual growth requires us to come to terms with who we are, accept what has come to pass, and to love ourselves inclusive of it all. Ayahuasca takes us into the domains of our soul for us to recognise what we are holding that keeps us from aligning who we are with how we live, and to then be conscious of what is within our power to change. She is considered the great grandmother of psychedelic plant medicine, and we are being guided with a woman equal to the task. Meet Maestra Isa, an 80-year-old Shipibo elder who has been working with the medicine since she was a babe. The story goes that she was spoon fed Ayahuasca while sitting on her grandfather’s knee who happened to be the SHAMAN for all other shamans. She joins us in the Sacred Valley from her home in the Amazon for three ceremonies. Please read your intake closely for information on diet and preparation.
Sacred Valley
This landscape will transform you. Who you are now will never be the same after a trip to Peru. It is simply what is. Through the ceremonies that Juan will share with you at the Ancient Incan temples, to the work you are doing with ayahuasca; your awareness of who you are and what matters in this world changes. In this way you are cleansed by the land, becoming a brighter more authentic version of your true self. We will be exploring some sights off the beaten path, as well as two days at Machu Picchu – one of the 7 wonders of the world.
